Jax Taylor says he has no affection left for his former boss and Vanderpump Rules co-star Lisa Vanderpump, and during his latest podcast episode, the star of The Valley explained that he’s very upset with how Lisa has treated certain people recently.
Jax said he hasn’t spoken to LVP since he was last shooting for ‘Vanderpump Rules’ and, according to Jax, there’s a reason for it.
“No, I don’t talk to her anymore. To be honest with you, I don’t really take kindly to her,” Jax said while answering fan questions on the When Reality Hits podcast.
Jax went on to explain that it was Lisa’s treatment of his co-star Kristen Doute– as well as the way Lisa defended James Kennedy after his arrest in December for domestic violence against his then-girlfriend Ally Lewber– that has really cemented Jax’s decision to distance himself from Lisa.
“The way she treated Kristen, the things she said about Kristen and her lack of empathy,” Jax said. “The way she handled the James and Ally situation. I personally think that was wrong. Kristen is my dear friend and the things [Lisa] said was just not OK.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Lisa has taken a lot of criticism for her reaction to James’ arrest for domestic violence, which occurred after Ally told police that James “lifted her up and threw her to the ground.” (After an investigation, it was determined that James would not be charged for the incident.) Although Kristen— who had previously dated James and claimed that she had suffered abuse at his hand— was outspoken after the arrest about James being abusive, Lisa doubled down on her defense of him.
In an interview earlier this month, the restauranter stated that James “didn’t hurt [Ally] categorically,” and insisted that Ally even “regrets what happened with how this blew up.” Lisa also told the outlet that the situation occurred between the now-former couple because they were “both being ridiculous and arguing,” and that Ally only had James arrested to “teach him a lesson.”
After the interview went public, Kristen publicly called Lisa’s comments “absolutely and disgustingly diabolical.”
“I will never, ever be okay with this constant abuse enabling behavior,” Kristen wrote on Instagram Stories. “To have the audacity to dumb down not only facts, but also feelings, makes me sick to my stomach. To every woman who is a survivor of [domestic violence] and wasn’t believed or supported, I’m so sorry.”
(Lisa also took the opportunity to shade Kristen shortly after Kristen announced that she and her fiancé Luke Broderick were expecting a baby. During an interview in December, Lisa claimed to have no idea that Kristen was pregnant or engaged, and even asked the reporter if anyone knows who the baby’s father is.)
Anyway, this is not the first time Jax has slammed Lisa, whom he once called “a huge figure in my life.” He recently claimed to have been the creative force behind ‘The Valley,’ telling fans that Lisa “has no part of the show.” Although Lisa is credited as an executive producer on ‘The Valley’– along with Alex Baskin, Jax’s manager and quite a few others— Jax has neither a producer nor creator credit for the show, despite insisting that the ‘The Valley’ was largely his idea.
“ … it’s a spin off so [Lisa] will always get a credit that’s how tv works,” Jax claimed.
In 2023, Jax slammed Lisa, claiming she played an insignificant role on ‘Vanderpump Rules.’
“I think she’s a prop at this point,” Jax stated on an episode of The Toast. “I don’t mean that in a negative way, but let’s be honest, it wouldn’t change the difference if she wasn’t there. She’s not bringing anything to the show anymore.”
Lisa has yet to respond to Jax’s latest comments about her.
