Tony Raines ended up behind bars on Sunday night, just weeks after his baby mama Madison Channing Walls was thrown in jail.
The Challenge star— who shares daughter Harper with Madison— was arrested in the early morning hours of February 23 in Louisiana, after allegedly causing a multi-car crash that reportedly left four people injured. Tony was charged with OWI (Operating While Intoxicated), as well as Reckless Operation and four counts of Negligent Injuring. TMZ was first to break the news of Tony’s arrest.
The Sun— which offered exclusive details about Tony’s arrest— stated that Tony was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and was “closely following a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan.” At some point, Tony’s car hit the back of the Volkswagen, causing the Volkswagen to hit a concrete barrier. A third vehicle ended up striking Tony’s car following the initial crash.
“Four motorists sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate,” The Sun reported, quoting a statement given by a Public Information Officer from the Louisiana State Police.
“Mr. Raines voluntarily submitted a breath test that registered over the legal limit for alcohol,” the statement continued. “As a result, Mr. Raines was arrested and booked… The investigation remains ongoing.”

Tony bonded out of jail that night after posting a $7,500 bond.
According to TMZ, Tony’s wild night started at a wedding held in Hammond, Louisiana. He then apparently went to a wedding after-party at a restaurant, where ‘The Challenge’ star was “allegedly upsetting people” and ended up getting into a fight with another guy while on the dance floor. TMZ reports that the other guy threw a punch at Tony (who is sporting some fresh-looking cuts and what appears to be the beginnings of a black eye in his mugshot).
After that, Tony reportedly stormed out of the party and drove off, only to end up in the crash soon after.
This is not Tony’s first alcohol-related arrest. Back in 2016 (several months after Madison gave birth to their daughter Harper), Tony was arrested for drinking in public, after cops found him sitting in his parked truck drinking a beer. (As you do.) Cops were called to the scene after an eyewitness saw Tony narrowly miss hitting another car with his truck. (He was not arrested for OWI, though, because he was not technically driving when he was found by police.)
Anyway, Tony’s latest arrest comes just weeks after his baby mama Madison was arrested in Williamson County, Texas, for possession of meth and fentanyl. Madison— who appeared with Tony on The Real World: Skeletons in 2014 and had been open about her struggle with her past addiction to heroin— was booked into jail on January 10, delivering a mugshot in which she looked nearly unrecognizable.

According to The Sun, Madison was riding in a car with a male that was stopped by cops. In the police report, the officer stated that “multiple paraphernalia items used for narcotics usage, such as torch lighters,” were visible inside the car. The male driver of the car — revealed via court records obtained by The Ashley to be Kevin Pike– was searched and discovered to have fentanyl on his person, along with a glass pipe for smoking it. Madison was also searched, and she admitted to having fentanyl in her backpack.
“I placed Walls under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, handcuffed her, and double-locked the cuffs,” the officer wrote, according to The Sun.
The officer also found methamphetamine in the car, which Madison and her male companion admitted was theirs.
“They both admitted to smoking the fentanyl I found on [the man] earlier in the day,” the officer wrote. “Walls admitted to smoking the meth with [the man] last night.”
Madison was thrown in jail January 10 and released on January 16 after her $10,000 bond was posted.
Madison has not posted any photos to her social media accounts since June 2024. That post featured a (heavily filtered) selfie video of Madison (ironically) set to the tune of Alex Guesta‘s “My Addiction.”
Madison– — who once briefly dated Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin— does not currently have custody of Harper. The little girl— who turned nine earlier this month– lives with Madison’s mom, but has visitation with Tony.
Madison is due in court later this week.
Tony has not yet publicly addressed his arrest.

Their child needs to be taken by CPS cause apparently these two can’t get their shit together.
And they have a daughter… Both POS addicts. Poor kid
Maybe Tony will do be a better person after serving some “Tony Time”.
Tony will never change. Word is, he is still sleeping around behind Alyssa’s back too.
You would think that Nelson having his leg amputated when he was drunk would give Tony (or anyone) pause before they recklessly get behind the wheel drunk. He could have killed the people he hit as Nelson could have. Tony loves to brag about what an amazing (and sober ironically) father he is. Looks like he needs help. Preferably before both of Harper’s parents ruin her life.
Another kid who drew the short straw with their MTV F-list reality “celebrity” parents.
