Thomas Ravenel issued a public apology Tuesday to two of his former Southern Charm co-stars, Patricia Altschul and Whitney Sudler-Smith, days after slamming the pair on social media.  

As longtime fans of ‘Southern Charm’ know, Thomas and Whitney were longtime friends and Patricia is Whitney’s mother. Despite the history between the trio, particularly T-Rav and Whitney, Thomas took to X over the weekend to (rather ironically) call out his pal for his allegedly inappropriate womanizing ways.

“I’m not of this sure but fairly 90 percent sure that Whitney has had sex with every single girl that’s on ‘Southern Charm,’” Thomas wrote. “I mean he makes [Harvey] Weinstein look like Jesus Christ..” 

Thomas fired off this allegation at his friend, despite the fact that he began dating former ‘Southern Charm’ star Kathryn Dennis when he was 50 years old and Kathryn was just 21 years-old. The two went on to welcome two children together before ultimately splitting. 

It’s also worth noting that Thomas announced his exit from ‘Southern Charm’ in 2018 amid allegations of sexual assault by multiple people. These allegations later led to Thomas being arrested and charged with assault and battery, after which, Bravo confirmed that the disgraced politician wouldn’t be returning to the Bravo series for Season 6. 

After laying into Whitney on X over the weekend, Thomas doubled down on his comments in a follow-up tweet, telling fans that Whitney was “begging” him to delete his original tweet for his own sake, as well as Patricia’s. 

“Whitney is right now begging me to take this down because he knows it’s going to f**k his wh**e of a mother,” Thomas wrote. “He’s nothing but a total piece of s**t.” 

While Thomas originally stood by the comments he made on X, he did go on to delete both of the tweets, as well as issue a public apology on Tuesday to both Patricia and Whitney. 

“I just had a long conversation with Patricia Altschul and her son Whitney Sudler-Smith, and we took a deep dive into what happened over the past 7 years,” Thomas posted Tuesday on X. “She basically confirmed what I intuitively knew all along, that she was always my friend and I hereby want to publicly apologize to her for the mean things that I said about her. 

“I extend this apology to Whitney as well,” Thomas continued. “He’s always been a dear friend especially after the death of my father.” 

As you may recall, this isn’t the first time Thomas has come for Patricia. Back in 2020, he called the ’Southern Charm’ matriarch a “lying gold-digging fame wh0re” during one of his infamous social media rants. Two months later, Thomas fired off the same insult at Patricia on the social media platform, while also calling the martini aficionado a “lying, dark and evil woman” who deserves to “burn in Hell.” He also wrote that Patricia— as well as his other former ‘Southern Charm’ co-star Cameran Eubanks — were “terrible.”

Speaking of Cameran, it appears that all is well between her and T-Rav these days. On Tuesday, a follower on X asked if he kept in touch with his other ‘Southern Charm’ co-stars. Thomas wrote that he had a pleasant run-in with Cameran last summer.

“I saw Cameran at the grocery store on Edisto Beach where we both coincidentally vacation,” he wrote. “When I saw her I thought to myself, ‘I need to not be seen by her.’ As I was packing my SUV with groceries I turned around and there she stood with [her husband] Jason and she quickly embraced me, as she seemed very happy to see me. So I’ll never forget that and will always wish her good things.” 

(Interestingly, back in 2020, Thomas hit Twitter to fan the flames of a rumor going around at the time that Cameran quit the show due to her husband Jason Wimberly cheating on her. Thomas wrote that he didn’t know if Jason actually cheated or not, but that he “wouldn’t blame him” if he did cheat, considering Cameran tries to emulate Patricia.) 

Whitney and Patricia have yet to comment on T-Rav’s recent comments.
