From releasing the anger held against their baby daddy to releasing adoption records , it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Tyler Baltierra Posts Birth Daughter Carly’s Adoption Agreement to Social Media Amid Drama with Carly’s Parents
Tyler Baltierra took airing his adoption grievances to a new level recently by publicly sharing part of his birth daughter Carly’s adoption contract – specifically the part of the contract that addresses the “open adoption” detail.
As The Ashley previously reported, Tyler and wife Catelynn Lowell have expressed – MANY times– that they believe Carly’s parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, have gone against the original adoption agreement by choosing to cut off contact with the ‘Teen Mom’ couple. Since being closed out of their relationship with Carly, Ty and Cate have taken to The Interwebs to get the message out to Carly that they never stopped trying to have a relationship with her, despite her parents’ actions.
Tyler recently took to his Instagram Story with a years-long receipt in the form of an adoption agreement, which Tyler seemingly posted after receiving some comments from people doubting the details of Carly’s adoption agreement.
In response, Tyler posted the agreement, which states that he and Cate requested to have photos and updates sent to them “throughout the child’s first 18 years.”
The agreement goes on to state that Brandon and Teresa are “committed to a semi open adoption,” and have agreed that photos and letters will be exchanged through the adoption agency. It also clarifies that Catelynn and Tyler “requested annual visits with the child and the adoptive family in the future.”
Under the section of the agreement he posted, Tyler told fans he was “here to share the truth, the unbiased, blind truth!”
“Whether that truth creates a defensive, emotional reaction by some people or not, it doesn’t change the validity of said truth,” Tyler wrote. “FACTS are NOT SUBJECTIVE, only opinions are & most of the people hating on us for speaking about adoption are basing their opinions on false/limited information. I just hope that they remember those opinions, that they feel so necessary to share publicly, carry the potential for very damaging/hurtful accusations.
“So if they truly seek the correct information, they’ll listen,” he continued. “But if they’d rather continue to feed their own opinion based narrative (that the algorithm has rewarded them for) then they won’t. But I just hope they realize that by not seeking the truth, they’re willfully choosing ignorance over knowledge for the sake of their own confirmatory bias!”
While some fans stated on social media that they felt Tyler posting the document was “over the line,” Tyler doesn’t appear to regret his decision. He and Catelynn have continued to post about Carly’s adoption, as well as the harm done by adoption, in recent days.
Kail Lowry Brings Her Ex Javi Marroquin on Her Podcast to Talk About Emotional” & “Sad” Topic
Kail and her ex-husband Javi announced on Tuesday (via a teaser video posted to social media) that Javi has taped an episode of Kail’s Barely Famous podcast that will be posted on Friday. However, listeners should not expect a fun-filled trip down to the WaWa parking lot memory lane during the episode.
“This is not an exciting topic. It’s an emotional topic. Pretty sad, honestly,” Javi said in the teaser clip regarding what will be discussed on the podcast. “My heart’s racing.”
While Javi and Kail— who have battled in their co-parenting relationship on-and-off for years— did not disclose exactly what the topic of discussion is, they did make it known that it has to do with their shared son Lincoln.
“I just hope that, if nothing else, people understand that we are a united front no matter what their opinion is of me, no matter what their opinion is of Javi, we are uniting for Lincoln, and Lincoln’s benefit only,” Kail said.
Javi– who is currently engaged (again) to Lauren Comeau— has made it clear over the last few years that he doesn’t even want Kail talking about him or his family on her podcasts, so his decision to appear on one has raised a few eyebrows.
“I’m going to be honest and tell my side of it and where I saw things going,” Javi says. “And what I thought was gonna happen.”
“Knowing that it’s going to be aired for public, I’ve already had bubble guts!” Kail added.
“Hopefully people understand that we’re really coming together to what’s in the best interest of Lincoln right now,” Kail said, adding that she feels “good” about the place her and Javi’s co-parenting relationship is at. This is certainly a change from where it was in July of 2024, when Kail said that things were so bad with Javi that she was putting it in her will that Javi (and one of her other baby daddies, Chris Lopez) would not be allowed to attend her funeral, and that if he showed up she wanted him “humiliated and escorted out of the place.”
She has also stated that she and Javi were communicating only via email for years, due to the high-tension in their co-parenting relationship.
The episode featuring Javi will be posted first to Kail’s Patreon account on Thursday, and then posted to the general public on Barely Famous on Friday.
It is not yet known if the episode was filmed in (or around) a WaWa parking lot.

Tyler Baltierra’s Sister Amber Arrested Twice in Five Months; Once For Allegedly Assaulting Her Husband with Deadly Weapon
Tyler’s legally challenged sister, Amber Baltierra, has had an interesting five months, clocking not one but two arrests in Texas— one of which was for allegedly attempting to assault her current husband.
As you do…
Amber– who has appeared on various ‘Teen Mom’ shows alongside Tyler— moved from Michigan to Texas back in 2018 to go to rehab and attempt to get sober. In August 2021, she married Jason Williams, who became her second husband.
(As ‘Teen Mom’ fans may remember, Amber was previously married to Billy Elkins Jr. until 2018. (Billy modeled his court-ordered tether on several episodes of ‘Teen Mom OG’ before and after the marriage, resulting in what The Ashley feels is some of the best ‘Teen Mom’ footage ever to air.)
Anytrainwreck, Amber’s marriage to Jason took a turn on November 29, when Amber was arrested for “Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon,” a second-degree felony charge. Amber delivered an A+ mugshot for that arrest, sporting what appeared to be the formation of black eyes as well as bruising on her face. (It’s been reported that the “deadly weapon” Amber allegedly used in the attack was a knife, but The Ashley hasn’t been able to confirm this.)
The Sun reports that Amber was ordered to wear an alcohol monitor after a court hearing held in January. In February, Amber was arrested again, this time for a probation revocation. For her second muggy in five months, Amber sported some serious eye bags and a pink jail jumpsuit.
The Sun reported that Amber was released after she posted bail. She is due in court to face the charges on March 24 in Williamson County, Texas. (She also has a court hearing scheduled in Travis County, Texas, on April 18 for the assault with the deadly weapon charge from November.)
Amber is the mother of two children (both of whom have appeared on ‘Teen Mom’ over the years). However, she does not have custody of either child currently. In February 2022, she legally gave up her rights to custody of her teen son and placed him with friends, according to The Sun. Her daughter reportedly lives with Tyler and Catelynn; however the couple has never publicly confirmed that.
Farrah Abraham Blames Parents for Her “Rage” Issues & Claims Daughter Sophia Doesn’t Want Her to Have a Relationship with Them
On a recent episode of SiriusXM’s The Bonfire, Farrah Abraham opened up about the “rage” issues her parents allegedly caused her, while insisting that her teenage daughter Sophia “doesn’t like” her talking to her mom and dad.
Farrah explained to the hosts that, after experiencing a “full circle event during winter,” she underwent ketamine therapy, claiming she had been suffering from “rage” issues brought on by her parents, Michael Abraham and Debra Danielsen. Farrah claimed that she was very mad at Mikey and Debz because they allowed her to appear on MTV at the age of 16– something she said she’d never allow her own child to do.
“I would never put my daughter around that or have her even think these thoughts and be so disconnected from me like I was with my family,” Farrah explained.
The Big F went on to reveal that, given the situation with her mom and dad, she understands why Sophia doesn’t like when she speaks to either one of her parents.
“ … I know why my daughter doesn’t like me talking to my mom and dad now,” Farrah said, insisting she’s “been way too nice” to Micheal and Debra in the past.
“But I was also, like, a different situation,” Farrah continued. “It’s like, I was forced to be around toxicity longer than my soul could stand.”
(As The Ashley told you last year, Farrah revealed on Rachel Uchitel’s Miss Understood podcast that she cut off contact with Michael after completing a trauma treatment program in 2022. At the time, she had already been estranged from Deb for a while.)
According to Farrah, appearing on reality TV at such a young age was damaging, which is part of the reason why she decided to undergo ketamine therapy. She also stated that her parents put her into a “psychedelic parenting simulation” by allowing her to be on ‘Teen Mom’…or something. (Even The Ashley— a certified “Farrah Speak” interpreter— is confused as to what Farrah is trying to say here.)
“When people were like, ‘Oh my God, you’re famous and you’re a Teen Mom!’ It’s like, yeah, but then there’s the real you that needs to get out of a psychedelic parenting simulation and go be a real parent and go really do this,” she said. “And that’s what I focused on [while undergoing ketamine therapy].”
Farrah noted that she’s also done a lot of “personal work” on herself over the years, which she insists has “benefitted” Sophia, whom she claims to be “the least of any of my worries.”
“She has so much wisdom,” Farrah said. “We just got back from Germany and London for her Sweet 16 and she has it all … I really wish I had a parent like myself, like she got.”

There is literally an episode of Catelynn and Tyler going over their adoption agreement with Dawn where its stated they had a SEMI-OPEN adoption where Brandon and Teresa are only obligated to send updates, pictures and meet for visits for the first five years of Carly’s life. What the hell does Tyler think he’s proving by showing a piece of paper showing what he and Cate REQUESTED? It doesn’t mean that’s what was ultimately signed off on by both couples.
I’d love to know how he and Catelynn think they’re endearing themselves to Carly with this crap.

Nearly all adoptions have paperwork and documents with various different requests from involved parties. Things that are discussed at all are more often than not included in said paperwork so that everyone involved is up to speed with everything. Even trivial things like basic conversations are usually included. This is pretty much a requirement in the vast majority of adoptions-with few exceptions. This doesn’t mean each and every thing discussed or requested will actually be granted or agreed upon by all parties when the contract is signed.
There are also pretty much always caveats included that can allow one, or more, parties to adjust agreed upon aspects, if required, at any point if it is in the best interest of the child. Those are usually called clauses, and nearly ALL contracts of any sort, have them. Don’t follow or choose to break them and whatever requests and privileges you were granted may be revoked. It’s really that simple. Read the terms and conditions folks, everyone has them and they spell all of this out quite plainly. It’s not rocket surgery.
They harassed the family enough that a child had to cut contact, then the parents had to cut contact because that wasn’t a big enough hint-AND specifically told them exactly why they were cutting contact (for the C&T simps and apologists….read the last story on here about them, Cate admits it, in her own words, they harassed B&T and Carly so they were cut off). We already know C&T have broken the contract several times over the years, which is why he won’t post those parts. Carly’s parents may end up having to file an RO on these two (and it’s likely to be granted). C&T are just kicking sand into the fan pointed right at Carly and her parents intentionally at this point. They aren’t doing themselves or anyone else any good.

The document says what was REQUESTED, not what was AGREED TO. Those are 2 different things. I want to what was actually, legally agreed to between both couples. Without a legal agreement, this doesn’t really mean anything.
A request for The Ashley: do you have any links to any adoption lawyers or anything like that who could provide context for some of these claims C&T have made? I’d love to know what an objective third party thinks.

Tyler posted their requests, but did he post the part of the agreement that outlines what was actually agreed to? That part has been shown and discussed on the show, so he’s being pretty deceitful here.

People were saying they never asked for more than photos a few year through the agency. Clearly they lied. Also given the date of the adoption as someone who adopted during that time nothing about this adoption was from this century. More like an 80’s adoption. My friend got pregnant in 1989, last year of high school and placed. It was more like that.
They were also minors and at least we know for certain her mom told the couple and the agency to stop talking to her daughter and clearly they didn’t. I think his as well but can’t remember that far back. It really makes me mad these entitled adults that adopted Carly has rules for thee and not for me. I had hoped adoption on the show would make it more accepted but it didn’t the opposite. I am so glad I didn’t do the domestic program.
You are not just committing to the child but the child’s family as well. Part of a day really isn’t that complicated. In our classes were instructed by adoptive parents back and the day go through hoops to find their parents since things so closed cause their child wanted to know before 18. This was not the right couple to be matched with. I am sure Carly ate every day, knows how to read, etc.. But they were a terrible couple for adoption in the year they adopted.
I’m sure that somewhere in that adoption contract it states that B&T can discontinue, at any time, the semi-open adoption they agreed to if they feel it’s in the best interest of Their child. Tyler, you and Cait have no morals or values. You have both failed on your promise to continue your education. Neither of you have stable employment, tic toc on that MTV money. And, your entire family is a bunch of meth heads. The only two people that don’t understand why you don’t see your birth child is you and Cait! The way you harass this family is shameful!
