The Teen Mom universe exploded on Thursday when a woman uploaded a video to TikTok, accusing Kail Lowry‘s fiancé, Elijah Scott, of cheating on Kail while he was on a cruise in May 2024.
The woman— whose name is Britt— claimed that she hooked up with Elijah during that fateful voyage, unaware that he was engaged to the Teen Mom 2 star. In her original video— which is entitled “Unknowingly slept with an engaged man” and has racked over 1.4 million views since it was posted yesterday— Britt claims that she and her friend met Elijah and his cousin while they were on a cruise last May. (In May 2024, Elijah and Kail were engaged, and Kail had given birth to their twins, Verse and Valley, just a few months prior.)
Britt stated that she and Elijah, as well as her friend and Elijah’s cousin, went to “da club” together, and got cozy in the hot tub before she alleges that she and Elijah banged one out. Britt said that she didn’t ask Elijah many questions before they allegedly did the horizontal mambo, so she was unaware that he was engaged and did not know he was one of Kail’s baby daddies.
She said that it wasn’t until she came across a new video featuring photos of Kail and Elijah on vacation that she realized who her (alleged) hookup partner on the Love Boat actually was. (Kail and Elijah are currently in Turks & Caicos celebrating Kail’s birthday.)
“A girl from ‘Teen Mom’ kept popping up on my [TikTok For You Page],” she said. “…I didn’t think nothing of it until yesterday when a video popped up of them, both of them, and I was like, ‘You look awfully familiar buddy!’ …I compared the videos of us on the cruise to her videos and it’s 1000 percent him.”
Britt’s video was obviously met with a lot of hostility from Kail’s fans, who were reluctant to believe that Elijah— who is the father of three of Kail’s kids and seemingly in a loving relationship with the former reality star— would cheat. To try to prove that she wasn’t making up their encounters, Britt posted several videos that feature Elijah.
In the videos, you can clearly see that Britt’s LoveBoat Lover has the same “K” tattoo on his arm that Elijah does, as well as clothing that Elijah was photographed wearing around May 2024. (Kail mentioned on a podcast episode that she actually gifted the cruise to Elijah and his cousin.)
Britt stated that she reached out to Kail privately via DM to let her know; however the ‘Teen Mom’ star did not respond, which is why Britt said she took the news public.
“Why post this for everyone to see,” one person wrote in the comment section of Britt’s original TikTok video. “This is someone’s real life and family. I couldn’t imagine posting something like this…”
“Ask yourself would you want to know?” Britt replied.
Other fans expressed their sadness at the possibility that Britt’s revelation could shatter Kail’s family life.
“Nooooooo not Kail’s man!?! Please.. she is finally happy,” someone wrote.
“He’s wrong full circle!” another person commented. “She pays for a cruise for him and is at home with the kids and he’s hanging with girls.”
Kail and Elijah have yet to comment on Britt’s accusations; however, during a brief Live that Britt did on Thursday, Kail’s podcasting co-host Lindsie Chrisley was spotted viewing it, as was Kail’s friend Kristen Hook.
In the comment section of a cute video posted just days ago to Instagram by Kail, showing her and Elijah having fun on vacation, the comment section was flooded with comments about Britt’s allegations, but Kail did not respond.
As The Ashley previously reported, Kail confirmed in August 2024 that she and Elijah are engaged, and had been for a while.
“I couldn’t really make an announcement [about the engagement] because I couldn’t really give you a time that he asked me to marry him,” Kail said on her Coffee Convos podcast at the time. “It was just like [him saying], ‘When are we going to get married?’…It was, like, asking me to marry him all the time. And then one day he just showed up with a ring.”
In September, Kail revealed that she and Elijah had postponed their wedding, which was originally supposed to happen that month, due to having too much going on in their lives.
“How soon we get married depends on the day that you ask me now,” she said in September.

Nobody is saying that Elijah isn’t responsible for his crappy choice, nor is anyone blaming the woman who did not even know who he was. She was not wrong for sleeping with someone she thought was unattached. She is, however, responsible for her decisions in how she handled this like any other person would be. An engaged Elijah (who knows he’s a semi-famous person that people would love to read gossip about), and who had 3 kids with Kail at the time, was on a cruise fully funded by Kail, with the intent to get away from the family craziness just months after Kail gave birth to twins(!!!) And on that cruise, he got involved in some kind of on-deck romance that led to him cheating on his fiancée in the fullest way one can cheat. He slept with another woman, on his partner’s dime, while said partner was at home with SEVEN kids, including 2 newborns!
Elijah did that. He made that choice. It would come out at some point down the line, with Other Woman 2, 3, or 4….and I think it’s so much better than Kail knows now, than 10 years in.
The original message to Kail may not have even been read by her, so we don’t know it was “dismissed and ignored by Kail.” I’m sure she has people managing at least some of her various social media accounts for all of the various podcasts plus her own personal one. This was Britt’s way to 1) make sure it got to Kail, and yeah, 100% 2) to boost her own profile. She’s attempting to make money and a living off of “influencing,” like so many other people, and she had a story, with evidence, that took off and went viral. First of all, this entire “hook-up” culture of sleeping with random people you don’t know disgusts me. With that said, I’m not surprised at all. No actual good and loyal man would ever tie himself to Kail, so we all knew something (other than his choice in hats) had to be wrong with Elijah.
I have zero sympathy for Kail because she’s done the same to others. Just karma coming around. I do, however, feel for all the innocent kids involved in the drama this will inevitably cause.
