Father of 12 Nick Cannon Says He’s Open to Having More Children: “I’m Not Done”

Who needs more kids? This guy!

Nick Cannon wants his family to keep growing.

On the latest episode of his We Playin’ Spades podcast, the Masked Singer host revealed he hopes to have more kids— even though he is already dad to (literally) a dozen kids by six different women.

During the episode, guests Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder shared their experiences having vasectomies, something Nick later revealed is not in his near future.

“It’s another man at this table that needs to think about [having a vasectomy],” Channing said to which Nick replied, “It is a responsible thing to do, I just, I’m not done.”

Nick’s cohost and Wild ’N Out cast member Courtney Bee asked Nick if that means he wants even more kids.

“Why not?” he replied.

For those keeping score, the one-time Nickelodeon superstar is father of 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; eight-year-old Golden Sagon, four-year-old Powerful Queen and two-year-old Rise Messiah with model Brittany Bell; three-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and two-year-old Beautiful Zeppelin with DJ Abby De La Rosa; two-year-old Legendary Love with Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi; two-year-old Onyx Ice with model LaNisha Cole; and two-year-old Halo Marie with model Alyssa Scott

(Nick and Alyssa are also parents to son Zen, who died from a brain tumor at five months old in 2021.)

On the podcast episode, Courtney asked if Nick was interested in having more children with one of the women he’s already involved with or if he was looking to have a baby with someone new.

“I don’t know, that’s the thing, I leave it to the Lord,” Nick— who insured his baby makers for $10 million last year— claimed.

“ … You hear about all these different celebrities insuring their legs … so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part,’” he said at the time. “[I’m] just making sure nothing goes wrong.”

Nick wagered on the episode that if Ryan and Channing won the game of spades, he would get a vasectomy consultation. The former NFL players did win and Nick promised that not only would he get the consultation but that his guests could film it for their podcast.

(In case you were wondering, more than 500,000 men have vasectomies each year in the United States, according to The Cleveland Clinic.)

Whether Nick goes through with the consultation and outpatient procedure or chooses to have more children, he doesn’t expect all of his kids and all of their moms to be hanging out together. Back in 2023, he revealed on an episode of The Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman that while his kids are often around one another, he’s yet to have all of them together at one time.

“ … as much as that may be a wish of mine, I’ve got to respect that’s not a wish of everyone’s,” he said. “I think that we’ll get there. One of the things I’ve witnessed from some of my elders in the game, once the children get of age to make their own decisions, it’ll happen.”

  1. He can’t even remember all of his kids’ names and ages, or which ones came from which women (more specifically, the younger ones). The only smart woman he’s ever been with was Mariah, she got tf away from him and prefers to disassociate as much as possible. The rest, they fully enjoy the “fame” they get by being one of his many baby mamas, and let’s not forge the financial incentives. That’s not to say these children don’t deserve the financial support, because they absolutely do. Still, the women aren’t much better than he is and knew exactly what they were all getting themselves into.

I feel bad for the kids because not a single one of them has a stable father, despite them ALL having the same one, and most of the moms aren’t much better. Not to mention we also know he’s said these are just the kids he actually knows about/planned, there may be more out there 🙁

  2. 12 kids with 7 different women feels like trying to overcompensate for something that went wrong in his youth

    1. I think he’s said before that ending things with Mariah was the wrong thing to do b/c of his jealousy & insecurity so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s doing this to show “he’s a man”.

    2. Not that it’s any better, but he has 12 children with 6 women.

The guy lost a baby to cancer, and instead of you know therapy and healing, he went and got 4 different women pregnant at the same time. He has FOUR two year olds…

  3. “Why not?” is his answer to “Do you want more?”

Nick thinks that somehow getting multiple women pregnant and having 12 children scattered around somehow makes him the man. Nick puts in 10 seconds of his own pleasure🤢and he thinks that compares with a woman carrying a child for 9 months and giving birth. Then the women are raising a child day to day, when they are sick, taking them to school, getting them to their activities, making sure they have a roof over their head, food in their stomachs and that they know they are loved unconditionally. He may pay child support to 12 kids because this idiot is rich. But there is no way he can give equal time to 12 kids spread out in different time zones. He can lie to himself if he wants but he is making purely selfish decisions based on what he wants at the moment.

    1. Don’t makenit sound like these women are saints. He may not be father of the year but the majority 9f those baby mamas knew what they were getting into.
