Tyler Baltierra‘s days of showing his goods on The Interwebs are over. (So long, red thong! We hardly knew ye!) This weekend Tyler revealed why he shut down his OnlyFans site— which was run by his wife (and self-proclaimed “pimp”) Catelynn Lowell.
As The Ashley previously reported, Tyler launched his OnlyFans site in 2023, stating that Catelynn urged him to put his sexy-time pics on the for-pay platform. Tyler posted risqué content— including the infamous photos of him modeling for the camera in a red thong— and regaled his Teen Mom Family Reunion cast members and show fans about how profitable his OnlyFans had become.
“It’s making well over 6 figures already & has stayed in the top 1%! So everyone who chooses to hate can keep on hatin & we’ll just keep on rollin I guess!” Tyler wrote on X in February 2024, before revealing that he had made well over $100,000 at the time from it.
It’s been months since Tyler has mentioned his OnlyFans online, and over the weekend, a fan asked the Teen Mom star on Instagram what happened to his “spicy site.”
Tyler revealed that he shut it down months ago, and for a very surprising reason.
“I’m not on OF and haven’t been for a while,” he replied, adding that he first quit the site because he thought it was affecting his relationship with his biological daughter Carly and her parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis. (As The Ashley previously reported, Brandon and Teresa informed Tyler and Catelynn last year that they were done communicating with them, essentially closing Carly’s once “open” adoption.)
“The moment contact was cut [between us and Carly] we shut [my OnlyFans] down immediately,” Tyler wrote on Instagram this weekend. “Just in case that could’ve possibly been an issue.”
Unfortunately, though, Tyler removing his thong and sexy time photos from The Interwebs didn’t help fix his estranged relationship with Carly’s parents.
After communication was cut in the spring of 2024, Tyler and Cate became very (very) outspoken about their unhappiness about the situation, as well as the idea of adoption in general. They continue to speak out in hopes that Carly will see that they never gave up trying to have a relationship with her.
Back in 2023, though, Tyler and Catelynn didn’t seem concerned that Tyler’s OnlyFans would create any issues between them and Carly’s (very conservative) parents. During an interview in August 2023, he claimed that Catelynn was “pimping” him out, while Catelynn joked that she had no problem pimping out her husband, because it keeps her from having to get a job.
“I told him this for months, I said, ‘Start an OnlyFans and mama won’t have to work another day in her life.’ And so here we are,” Catelynn said.
In February 2024, Tyler received backlash from fans after he dropped a fresh crop of man-meat modeling pics on OnlyFans, with several people warning Tyler that Brandon and Teresa wouldn’t approve of the content. In response, Tyler said he couldn’t get the approval of Carly’s parents even before he started showing off his body online.
“What are you going to do in 10 years when the MTV money is gone and no one gives a damn about your [OnlyFans]?” one person asked Tyler in a tweet at the time. “Oh, and how do you expect Brandon and Teresa to respond to this? They don’t want to be associated with this nonsense!”
“IDK, I’ll prolly just move back into a trailer park where I belong,” Tyler responded. “And as far as B&T go, I couldn’t please them or get their approval if I was damn Mother Teresa herself lol. Besides, I refuse to live my life trying to live up to anyone’s expectations besides my own!”

After Tyler and Catelynn were cut off from Carly and her parents in mid-2024, Tyler took to Instagram Live in September to insist that him being on OnlyFans had nothing to do with Carly’s parents’ decision to block him and Cate.

I have never felt more embarrassed for Carley than I do right now. All of her friends know who her parents are, so it stands to reason they are well aware of Tyler’s page. I cannot even imagine how it must feel to be 16 years old and have to deal with T&C’s bs while trying to navigate being a teenager.
Tyler, get a fucking grip. Instead of telling everyone how much you care about your kids, try showing it by being a man they can look up to, be proud of, and who doesn’t embarrass them with semi nude photos on a paid site. No young girl wants a father who’s a whore, or a mother who thinks pumping out Dad is funny. Making a lot of money doesn’t mean much if you insist on imposing the worst of your trailer mentality on your kids. You’ve already made them the laughing stock of their schools. Do better

When actors are acting on a tv show, the camera crew doesn’t show up at there house and film them in their pajamas. Ty and Cait technically have jobs with MTV but how much effort do they put into it? There was one season where Cait didn’t leave the couch or her bed and all Tyler did was have filmed lunches with his mom?! C’mon, these two goofs have no idea what it is to actually work.
