Get ready to watch nine reality TV stars and celebrities and 11 “Reality Rookies” compete while conspiring to “get out” in Hulu’s new series Got to Get Out.
“Lies and lunacy collide in this exhilarating competition series where an outrageous mix of reality icons and crafty gamers must conspire to get out,” Hulu’s synopsis for the new series reads. “In this house, time is money. As the clock ticks up, so does the prize money. The longer they stay, the greater their chance to earn more.
“They can split the money equally in the end, or at any point in time, try to make their escape with the accumulated money all for themselves, leaving others to start again at $0,” the synopsis continues.

While ‘Got to Get Out’ promises wild strategies, shifting alliances and “unbelievable escape attempts,” actually getting out of the house– and receiving any money– is allegedly easier said than done.
In the trailer, show host Simu Liu tells viewers that the “20 strangers” competing will be locked in a house and given clues to help them escape. However, standing between the contestants and the prize money will be their fellow contestants.

The 20 contestants will be made up of “Reality Royalty” and “Reality Rookies”– the latter of whom work everyday jobs.
The Reality Royalty contestants include Spencer Pratt of The Hills, Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Cynthia Bailey– both of Real Housewives of Atlanta fame– dancing pro Val Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars and Omarosa of The Apprentice.

Also representing Reality Royalty are Bachelor contestants Demi Burnett and Clare Crawley, Susan Noles of The Golden Bachelor and former NFL running back Rashad Jennings.
The lineup of Reality Rookies includes Jill Ashlock, Lindsey Coffey, Yahné Coleman, Shane Dougherty, Steven Giannopoulos, Steve Helling, Nick Metzler, Stein Retzlaff, Rob Roman, Athena Suich and Athena Vas. The Rookies’ professions range from a cop to an MMA fighter, and even include two firefighters.

In the new trailer, viewers get a first look at some of the contestants plotting their big escape from the ‘Got to Get Out’ mansion, including Spencer, who reveals his master plan to sneak out of a window while disguised as a member of the crew.

The trailer also shows contestants filming confessionals from inside of random closets in the ‘Got to Get Out’ mansion, alarms being set off throughout the house, multiple getaway cars and the coveted prize money dropping by more than $400,000.
All episodes of ‘Got to Get Out’ will be available to stream April 11 on Hulu. Watch the trailer below!
