From lashing out at random fertility treatments to slamming their mother’s parenting , it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Farrah Abraham Slams ‘Teen Mom’ (and IVF Fertility Treatments) in Weird Word-Salad Online Rant
Farrah’s latest rants have been somewhat readable (thanks, most likely, to The Big F finally discovering ChatGPT.) However, the fired ‘Teen Mom’ star hit The Interwebs on Monday in her signature “Farrah Speak” word salad format to slam a random cornucopia of people and things, including ‘Teen Mom,’ Mackenzie McKee and IVF fertility treatments.
It appears that the Backdoor Teen Mom was not happy that Mackenzie (as well as her cast mate Briana DeJesus) appeared on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ on Monday, and she made sure to let everyone know.
Farrah— who, as The Ashley reported, tried to get back on ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ earlier this year but was shot down by producers— lashed out at Mack, who announced on the show that she is pregnant with twins after undergoing IVF. (As per usual, Farrah has nothing to do with Mackenzie, IVF or her pregnancy, but…here she is.)

“If they thought I glamorized ‘Teen Mom’ what does 30 and IVF say on ‘Teen Mom’ today…” she wrote, before switching to talking in the third person.
“We still can’t get ratings high since Farrah left maybe Drew Barrymore can help & make this look insane,” she word-vomited onto Instagram Stories. “The show is not 30 & IVF BAD CASTING JOB AGAIN…What ppl do to be on TV is crazy.”
Then, just for additional giggles, Farrah ended her rant with, “God bless IVF kids -FA.”

The Ashley can basically translate this rant into Farrah feeling jealous that other girls are getting on mainstream shows to discuss their lives, and she’s not. Since she was turned away after attempting to get her spot on ‘Teen Mom’ back, she’s mad that the show is now being used to talk about things that 30-year-olds deal with, including IVF…. and not being used to talk about…whatever it is that Farrah does all day.
Farrah then went on to brag that she will be appearing on an upcoming Netflix show called Pop the Balloon, where she and other reality TV randoms will search for “love” on live TV. She appeared to be trying to let everyone know that she’s too good for MTV (despite the fact that MTV didn’t want her back.)
“So excited, so grateful to be part of the Netflix family,” she wrote. “New shows soon.”
Mackenzie has not responded to– and likely does not care about– the word jumble Farrah uttered about her.
Briana DeJesus Bonds with Drew Barrymore Over Growing Up Too Fast; Calls Out Mom Roxanne For Not Stopping Her Wild Teenage Behavior
Briana discussed her wild teenage years during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Monday, during which she basically slammed her mom Roxanne for not keeping her out of trouble as a young teen.
As The Ashley previously reported, Bri appeared on Drew’s show alongside Mackenzie McKee (who used the opportunity to announce that she’s currently pregnant with twins). While Mack’s pregnancy announcement garnered plenty of attention, Drew stated that she actually wanted to have Briana on her show, due to a statement that Bri made on ‘Next Chapter’ about not wanting her daughters, Nova and Stella, to end up like she did.
“When I saw that, I wanted to have a conversation with you guys,” Drew— who began partying as a child star and went to rehab at 13— told Briana.
“When I look at my Nova, who is now 13, I see myself,” Briana told Drew. “And I’m like, ‘Why was I doing all these grown-up activities at such a young age? I see Nova as a baby, and I was a baby. Why was I having sex at 13 years old?”
Briana then called out her mom (and dad– who is not in her life) for not doing a better job parenting her.
“Like, where were my parents to help guide me in the right direction?” Briana said.
As 16 and Pregnant fans will remember, Briana became pregnant with Nova at the age of 16. Fans may also remember that Bri’s older sister, Brittany, got pregnant at the same time Briana got pregnant with Nova. However, Brittany chose to have an abortion.
Drew told Briana that her discussing this is “so healing,” and reminded her that she’s “not there anymore.”
“I’m proud of who I am today,” Briana said. “But it was hard. I’m no longer in that survival mode.”
“I’m more relaxed now, and I’m more confident like you said,” Briana told Drew, who stated that she decided that her own kids would not be “so young and wild” like she was.
“No, I want my kids to be kids,” Briana agreed. “And to be selfish, and to live a kid life. There’s no reason why my 13-year-old should be out doing things that she shouldn’t be doing, plain and simple.”
Interestingly, Roxanne expressed similar sentiments during a 2024 episode of ‘Next Chapter,’ calling out the adults in her own life for failing to protect her from growing up too fast.
“I just look at Nova and Stella and I’m so grateful that they’re so protected,” Roxanne told Briana. “And that I was able to protect you and your sister somewhat. I wasn’t protected at all. At f**king all. Like, where the f**k were the adults? I didn’t want that for my kids. I didn’t want that cycle to repeat.

Maci Bookout Sells Tennessee Property; Still Owes $700K in Back Taxes
Maci Bookout just scored a big pay day after unloading one of her many properties, but unfortunately Uncle Sam is still breathing down the ‘Teen Mom’ star’s neck.
According to The Sun, Maci recently made a $50,000 profit from selling an investment property she owned in Tennessee; despite this, she currently still owes $742,000 in unpaid taxes.
Maci purchased the property–which contains two 525-square-foot cottages– on her own for $190,000 in November 2021. The land and cottages were then sold by Maci in December 2024 for $240,000, garnering the Bud Light enthusiast a cool $50,000 in profit.
In addition to the home Maci, Taylor and their three children currently live in, the pair also owns 48 acres of land in Cleveland, Tennessee, which they purchased together for $339,000 in June 2021.
Taylor also bought a plot of land on his own in 2023 for $22,000; he went on to build a house on the land and has since listed it on the market for $400,000.
Despite having multiple investment properties and a lucrative gig with MTV, Maci currently owes Uncle Sam a whopping $742,000. Back in June, The Sun reported that Maci owed $736,000 in back taxes; however, she and Taylor now owe more than $6,000 in property tax on their 48-acre piece of land, making their current total due $742,000.
The newly added $6,561 ($1,491 of which is interest) in unpaid property taxes and charges stems back to 2021. The Sun reports that as of June 2024, Maci had five unreleased liens, including three connected with Taylor, which had not been paid off.
As The Ashley reported last summer, these aren’t the only back taxes Maci owes or has owed. In May 2023, she received a tax lien for $14,227, which she reportedly owes to the state of California.
Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra Lash Out at Fans After a Recent Photo of Their Bio Daughter Carly Is Circulated
Catelynn and Tyler have been very (very) outspoken about their unhappiness with Brandon and Teresa Davis, the parents of their biological daughter Carly who cut off contact with them last year. However, the ‘Teen Mom’ stars recently turned their unhappiness toward some of the show’s fans, who have been circulating a current photo of Carly around The Interwebs.
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Brandon and Teresa have been very protective of Carly’s image, forbidding Ty and Cate (and MTV) from posting any recent photos of the now-15-year-old. Aside from one incident, Tyler and Catelynn have respected Brandon and Teresa’s wishes and refrained from ever posting photos of Carly’s face on social media. (All photos that the couple have posted since Carly was a toddler have only showed Carly from behind.)

Unfortunately, a current pic of Carly still hit the Internet, and was recently posted all over the online ‘Teen Mom’ Universe. In the photo— which The Ashley is not posting– Carly is seen smiling next to her mom, Teresa.
Cate and Ty acknowledged that the photo is real, but slammed fans (and cast members who posted the pic as clickbait) who have been reposting it despite knowing that Brandon and Teresa have asked that Carly’s image be kept private.
Catelynn wrote a message about the pic on Instagram Stories, and the message was reposted by Tyler.
“The irony here is that the same pages & people who continuously bash me & Ty for just speaking about our adoption publicly are now spreading an actual picture of her publicly,” she wrote. “The hypocrisy is literally insane to me.”
During a TikTok Live session on Monday night, Catelynn’s little brother Nick gave his thoughts on fans choosing to circulate the photo against Carly’s parents’ wishes.
“I think the Carly picture [being posted] was very disrespectful,” he said. “She’s a minor and she has no say so.”
He encouraged fans to stop spreading the photo around.
“If you guys see it, please don’t post it,” he said. “If you see the picture don’t interact with it, and try to ignore it. She’s a minor. She’s just a kid.”

Cate, if you and Tyler weren’t constantly talking about Carly your “fans” wouldn’t be interested in stalking her and posting her picture. JUST STOP TALKING ABOUT HER ALREADY!
If you know posting her pic is disrespectful, why don’t you see that talking constantly about her and her parents is also disrespectful?
I saw the photo of Carly and her mom, and Carly looks SOO genuinely happy. That is a smile that comes from the soul and that should be enough for C&T to finally leave them alone IF they actually cared about Carly. Also, I always thought Briana seemed like she tried to be a good mother and do life right, she just has a psycho mother and I think she lacked proper guidance and love.
Who were the TM cast members who posted the inappropriate clickbait? May Carly’s family slap a cease and desist order on the entire TM circus.
So, instead of just asking people to stop circulating the picture or expressing concern for Carly’s privacy (like Cate’s brother did), Cate just uses it as another vehicle to claim that she’s “just” speaking out about the adoption and lash out at people. Sounds about right. Carly is a means to an end for them and it’s gross.
Did you guys all ask for more Teen Mom articles in that survey from a couple of months back? I answered “anything TM” to the question of what I was less likely to click on.
I don’t understand how such an unpopular show warrants this much attention.
Farrah is just big mad that her “comedy show” (if you want to call it that) flopped so badly and got so many bad reviews from almost everyone that went to it. Meanwhile other folks from the TM franchise (past and present) are still part of the Tm news cycle, while she is only a blip when there’s nothing else to report on, and even then none of it is positive. She’s just trying to stay relevant, poor lil fella, lmao.
My guess is the new show is also a flop for her and her balloon got popped, or threatened to, early on, so she’s pissed about that too. She usually goes off on these rants when the truth smacks her in the face and she can’t deny it (this truth being the sheer level of her irrelevance).
I saw the picture and read alot of the comments on fb. Most opinions are that its fake. By C&T responding, they are basically saying that it’s real and giving it more attention. That’s the opposite of what’s best.

I ran across a teen mom page on FB that was showing the picture and trying to justify it by saying it was made public by Carly herself on her own social media so it was okay… it’s just sad that this poor girl can’t live in peace. Her own biological parents keep using her in order to get a storyline and now her picture.

Let’s be honest, Cait and Ty are actually upset because the public got the pic before they did. I don’t believe for a moment those two legitimately care about that girls privacy, otherwise they’d stop talking about her and her family 24/7.

I came across it on TikTok. I also thought it was fake. I thought the OP did an age filter on Theresa and photoshopped Nova (and age filter) in the photo with Theresa.
