Taylor Ann Green’s Southern Charm run has come to an end.
On Thursday, the Bravo star announced on social media that, “after a lot of conversations and thought,” she has decided to leave ‘Southern Charm’ after four seasons.
“ … A bittersweet announcement; but after a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from ‘Southern Charm’ next year,” she wrote on Instagram. “These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life.
“I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, [Bravo] family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today,” she continued. “A wild rollercoaster but an incredible one to say the least.”
Taylor explained in her announcement that she will now be focusing her time on her new company, Reset Athletic, which is described as “an athleisure line made to be styled.”
Fans may remember Taylor first appearing on ‘Southern Charm’ back in Season 7 when she was dating longtime cast member Shep Rose. The following season, she officially joined the cast.
During the last four seasons, viewers watched as Taylor and Shep’s relationship played out on camera, before the two ultimately called it quits in 2022, according to People.
In Season 9, viewers saw another one of Taylor’s relationships fall apart after she lied to best friend and fellow ‘Southern Charm’ star Olivia Flowers about kissing her ex Austen Kroll, who, as fans know, is also a close friend of Shep’s. While Taylor caught a lot of heat for her actions towards Olivia, she told People in December that she hoped fans would tune in to Season 10 “and see a different side” of her following her friendship fallout the previous season.
(As The Ashley previously told you, Olivia revealed last summer that she had been fired from ‘Southern Charm’ prior to Season 10.)
Taylor is currently dating Gaston Rojas of Bravo’s Southern Hospitality– a relationship that the 31 year-old says is “different from any relationship I’ve ever been in.”
“I finally feel like an equal, and this is actually real because we’re talking about the next steps, and in order to climb those next steps, what is to be expected within a relationship,” she said. “If his friends ask him to go golfing, his first thought is, ‘Let me check with Taylor, make sure we’re not doing anything this weekend.’ Every decision that he makes, I’m a priority. I take precedence.”
While Taylor received a lot comments on Instagram supporting her decision to walk away from ‘Southern Charm’ and wishing her luck in her new business venture, there were many comments on various Bravo fan pages as well as the ‘Southern Charm’ subreddit from fans happy to see Taylor go.
“She didn’t seem into the show last season running from every conversation,” one person wrote on Reddit. “It’s better that she leaves.”
“She’s been on [the show] for five seasons? They all felt the same,” another commented.
Taylor’s post comes just weeks after cast member Leva Bonaparte that she won’t be returning to ‘Southern Charm’ for Season 11 and five months after Jarrett “JT” Thomas revealed that he had “resigned” from the Bravo series amid filming for Season 10.

The fact that she knows Shep is a selfish lover but still would’ve settled for him is crazy.
Also, Gaston isn’t really on Southern Hospitality, right?
She was a pickme. She seems so desperate to have a man that she sent pics Whitney. I felt sorry for her.
happy to see her go–period
